I’m Emily Knoppert, a language-loving book nerd with a passion for education. While I adore the written word more than anything, I still recognize that’s not the case for everyone. If you need help putting your unique message on paper, I’m here for you.

As my M.A. in Literature and Cultural Criticism might suggest, narrative writing has a particularly fond place in my heart. One of the most important narratives you’ll tell in your life is the one in your college application essay.

Since 2015, I have helped countless students reach their dream schools, including University of Washington, UC Berkeley, and Stanford. I love helping students find their voice so they can stand out from the crowd of applicants and pursue their academic ambitions.

When I’m not teaching, writing, or editing, I’m probably working my way through all the unread novels on my overburdened bookshelves.
